“MAZING” RACE
You and your family are invited to join other families at the YMCA for an afternoon of “Mazing” Free Fun. Starting at the Y, various clues will lead you to various locations around the Y to complete activities, riddles, and puzzles together. We will conclude at the Y with door prizes and light refreshments!
GOOD FRIDAY BREAKFAST
An annual commemoration of Jesus Chirst's sacrifice for man's salvation. Developed and sponsored by the YMCA's Christain Emphasis Committee. This pre Easter program begins at 6:15 am on Good Friday with a hearty breakfast and concludes with an inspirational presentation of Chirst's sacrificial gift to mankind.
MICHAUX TEAM CHALLENGE – MTEC
Michaux Team Challenge - A unique and challenging sprint adventure race.
The MTeC began in 2003 as a YMCA program for teens and adult mentors to work in an outdoor team building environment. The course is run through the Michaux Forest and Caledonia State Park. Race distances will vary from year to year. Teams will race anywhere from 3 to 6 hours over a variety of terrains. The event is composed of hiking/trail running, mountain biking and paddling along with a variety of team challenges throughout the course.
The MTeC race is always held the last Sunday of October and includes an outdoor Contemporary Worship Service prior to the event. The race concludes with a catered meal and post-race awards ceremony.
