As our school district finalizes plans for the upcoming school year, we know that one of the concerns is how families will navigate any new school day structure while meeting the demands of work and home. The Chambersburg YMCA is here to support your family as we move through the coming months together.
In response to the start of a virtual school year, the YMCA will provide a child care alternative to support the virtual learning process. Our Remote Learning Child Care Program will offer students an efficient workspace equipped with Wi-Fi to complete their daily assignments. Our staff will readily support students, as well as provide them with enrichment opportunities to include physical activities, art and character development.
The Y has partnered with several local churches to allow us to host the Remote Learning Child Care program at several convenient locations.
Once we receive your registration paperwork, a Y Director will contact you to complete your registration, determine your program location and set up your payment process.
The Y is making every effort to provide a quality affordable program. Support from our community continues to allow the Y to provide financial support where needed. The Y’s Financial Assistance application is below.
We would like to thank you for your patience during this time as we work to adapt our programs to our everchanging world. We look forward to serving you this school year!
