The YMCA has a Ladder Racquetball Tournament. Participants that sign up will come in and play two 15 minute games against different opponents. After everyone has played, we will place you in a ladder tournament based on the amount of points you scored. Then for the next month you will be able to challenge other players to a match (best out of 3) at an agreed scheduled time. If the player that is lower on the ladder wins, the two players will swap places. However you may only challenge someone within 2 steps above you.
Recreational basketball for adult members 19 years of age and older during the noon and evening hours Monday - Friday.
Pick up style basketball for individuals 30 years of age and older. Court is in session on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 pm - 9:45 pm and on Thursdays at 12 noon.
Unlimited play on two regulation U.S.S.R.A. courts. Numerous tournaments and leagues play throughout the year.
YMCA members and non-members are invited to join the Y's Summer Golf League. The league will be held on Monday evenings from April 4th to August 22th. Tee off time will be at 5:30 P.M. The format for this league is a two-person team scramble with an eighteen two-person team capacity. Men's, women's and co-ed teams are welcome.

The Chambersburg YMCA has an organized Ultimate Frisbee League on Saturday mornings in the spring and fall. The spring league runs form May through August. The fall league is available from September through October.
YMCA members and non-members are welcome to join our men's, and coed volleyball leagues. Division of play include Co-ed A, B and men's. The leagues organize in August for the fall/winter playing season. A team fee will be charged for the team to participate in the volleyball league, an additional fee will be charged to those individuals who are non YMCA members. Contact the Director of Recreational Activities to register to play or to register a team.

Masters Swim Team
An organized team of new and former competitive swimmers ages 19 and older who wish to improve their fitness and competitive swimming ability. Practices run year round. Freestyle ability required.
- Night Golf Tournament - The Fourth Annual Chambersburg YMCA Night Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 with a rain date of Friday, August 11. The event is a four person scramble at Rocky Springs Golf Course. Tournament play will begin with a shotgun start at 5:30 pm. Teams will compete: 9 holes in the daylight and 9 holes after dark with a meal served between the 9 holes of play. Water and soda will be available on the course throughout the tournament. - Dodgeball Tournament - The YMCA Dodgeball Ball tournament offers adults, ages 18 and older, an opportunity to enjoy their favorite playground game. In Mid-February Men’s and Co-Ed teams are created from family and friends to compete for the right to be the Chambersburg YMCA dodgeball champions.
Kickball Tournament - The YMCA offers a Kickball tournament annually each year. The tournament is for adults ages 18 and older, so grab some of your family and friends and register a team.

Pickle-Ball is a FUN and EXCITING game that can be played by 2 or 4 people. This sport combines the best of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. You can enjoy exercise and have FUN while at the same time become physically fit playing Pickle-Ball. It is an ideal game for developing eye-hand coordination skills along with quickness and agility. Classes will be held for Families and Active Older Adults.
Michaux Team Challenge – MTEC
A unique and challenging sprint adventure race.
The MTeC began in 2003 as a YMCA program for teens and adult mentors to work in an outdoor team building environment. The course is run through the Michaux State Forest and Caledonia State Park. Race distances will vary from year to year. Teams will race anywhere from 3 to 6 hours over a variety of terrains.
The event is composed of hiking/trail running, mountain biking and paddling along with a variety of team challenges throughout the course. The MTeC race is always held the last Sunday of October and includes an outdoor Contemporary Worship Service prior to the event. The race concludes with a catered meal and post-race awards ceremony.
This event is a great triathlon for beginners and for those looking to wrap-up their racing season. Held the last Saturday in September, the race is composed of a 500m/yd indoor swim, 16 mile bike and 5k run.
5K Pump & Run
The Chambersburg YMCA 5K, 5K Pump-n-Run and 1K Fun Run occurs the first Saturday after Memorial Day. The Pump-n-Run challenges those individuals who train hard on the road and hit the weights. The Pump-n-Run takes the amount of times a person bench presses their own body weight (all women and men 60 & older press 60%) and subtracts 30 seconds for each repetition from the 5K time. An open 5K and 1K event is also held for local runners and walkers.
